A New Chapter Begins at Colour & Cloth

WE’RE BACK IN ARMAGH!

It’s our official relaunch!
After a season of change and growth, I’m delighted to announce that we are moving into a beautiful new studio space and a new home in the heart of County Armagh—the place where I grew up and where my passion for sewing first began.

It’s where I first learned to sew at the age of six at school, making a little needlecase that I still use every day. Mum was my greatest teacher—she shared her skill of sewing with me. We visited the local mill Castleisland Tweed to see the fabrics being woven.

That early spark led me to study Art and Textiles at Portadown College, where my creativity and technical skills really began to flourish. Now, years later, it feels incredibly meaningful to return to my roots and share the joy of sewing with others in the place where it all began.

This isn’t just a change of address—it’s a homecoming. And I’m so excited to bring my teaching to a new reach in this creative and inspiring community.

What’s new?

With the new space comes a fresh approach to classes:

A WARM WELCOME – Wherever You’re Travelling From

While my new studio is now based in beautiful County Armagh, I want to warmly welcome all my wonderful students and clients from Belfast and beyond to join me in this next chapter. The new location is just 25 miles from Belfast, with easy access via the motorway, train, and bus routes.

Thanks to the new rail link, Portadown is now just 30 minutes from Belfast, and also easily reached from across Northern Ireland and the South.

This new studio has been created with love, care, and purpose—so you can expect the same high quality tuition, expert knowledge, and warm community that you’ve come to know, all in a peaceful and inspiring setting. I truly believe the experience is worth the travel—and I can’t wait to welcome you here.
