My Story
Hi, I’m Christine, Creative Director at Colour and Cloth Ltd.
My journey into the world of sewing began at the age of six. I watched my mother sew, knit and crochet for her family and for others. She instilled in me a deep appreciation for the art of handmade. I was also blessed to learn this skill during my school years, growing up in County Armagh.
Today, it is my joy and privilege to continue mum’s legacy by sharing the gift she gave to me. Teaching my students with professionalism, passion, and enthusiasm.
Sewing, to me, is more than a skill; it’s a gateway to creativity, confidence and self-expression.
Join me at Colour and Cloth, and let’s embark on an inspiring journey. The magic of ‘hand-made’ is in your hands.
Christine
My Inspiration
We all find our inspiration from someone; meet my mum. I know she would be very proud of me.
Kathleen Boyle – my mum
This is the only photo I have of her sewing at a Singer Featherweight sewing machine. Every stitch I sew is in memory of mum who passed away on 13th February 2020.
