With a community sew-along, a treasure trove of pre-loved clothing stalls, and awe-inspiring demonstrations, this one-day extravaganza is your ticket to a brighter, more sustainable fashion future!
GET CREATIVE WITH COLOUR AND CLOTH
Colour and Cloth will have rails of quality pre-loved and hand made clothing for sale. I will be demonstrating Natural Dyeing, Slow and Mindful Sewing and How Clothes are made and much more! There will be 5 tables covered with creativity. My aim is to bring a greater understanding of the fabric and the process of how garments are made. To highlight the value and appreciation of the skill of sewing and mending.
There will also be a display of vintage machines which Colour and Cloth have repaired and serviced – extending the life of these beautiful machines. Making the choice not always to buy a brand new machine, but rather mend what machines are already in circulation.
