Christine is a dream. She’s a world of knowledge and skills with the best possible personality and passion for teaching the beautiful art of sewing. I have completed her beginners class and learned so much! Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Welcoming, warm and a joy to be part of her lessons. I made 4 stunning kimono’s. I was having a bit of trouble with my sewing machine and realising that I've had it for a number of years and it hadn't been serviced I set about looking for someone that could remedy this.  I was surprised and delighted to find Colour and Cloth a five minute drive from me.  I was able to book a service online at a time that was convenient to me. I recently attended a sewing day at Christine’s fantastic studio. It was a fantastic quality day of sewing, learning lots of new skills, tips and wonderful techniques. The day flew!, Christine was so patient with her guidance on my pattern and welcomed all and my many questions. Having her expertise and encouragement has really inspired me in my sewing learning and I would highly recommend attending her classes. I had my Janome sewing machine serviced by Brian. He did an amazing job, within 24 hrs, and my machine is now like new.  Brian and Christine are such a lovely couple, friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable and professional.  I found them inspirational. I cannot thank Christine and Brian at Colour and Cloth enough! They recently repaired my Granny Teresa’s vintage Singer sewing machine, which holds so much sentimental value for our family. I felt in such capable, knowledgeable hands from first speaking with them. They explained every detail clearly and made sure to show me the machine working perfectly before I left. A huge bonus was their amazing website—being able to check live updates on the progress of the repair was brilliant and kept me informed every step of the way. I've just completed a 6 week beginners course with Christine in Colour and Cloth. I had never used a sewing machine before booking the course and was nervous going into it but Christine put me at ease from the very beginning. The course was really enjoyable and the 6 weeks flew in, I learned so much during my time and made a lovely skirt for myself.
