SEWING ON THE ROAD!
Where do you sew? I love to sew on the go, in the mo-ho! This summer I managed to pack my sewing machine and overlocker meaning I can fully finish my projects!
With a extendable table and plenty of power sockets, sewing on the road is a great thing to do when the rain stops play outside!
One thing I don’t have much of in my #memade wardrobe is bottoms; I have lots of dresses, kaftans and capes, but not a bottom in sight!
This New Look N4466 pattern is a quick sew and can be sewn up in a few hours. This pattern is suitable for Beginner sewists. The NEW LOOK brand instructions are easy to follow.
The simple pattern means you can add top stitching detail to give it more style. Hot off the machine, and the mini ironing board, I have been wearing these ever since and plan to make them again and again.
If you like this style, you can shop it in the online store – just click on the highlighted links.
I am wearing it with a knitted linen top, against the backdrop of curtains and cushions I made for the mo-ho.
SEWING THE DETAILS
I cut a 12 for size and it fitted perfectly with no alterations. I made these in 100% linen which was gifted to me by my friend Agnieksa, also one of my previous students. Linen means it is very relaxing, washes well, and dries quickly. I added top stitching detail, and I still have to add a button to complete the project. I am delighted with these trousers!

This New Look N4466 pattern is available in multiple sizes. I cut the size 12 measurements.
These trousers were made from 100% linen which is the perfect fabric for the relaxed look. I will be making these in this navy linen next time.
I used my mum’s Frister Rossmann sewing machine and finished off the seams with my Janome 6234XL overlocker.
